Enticing aromas of Mediterranean spices and honey lead into vibrant flavors of stone fruit, citrus, and zest – all balanced with a crisp, bright acidity, and a clean finish.

The majority of the grapes for the 2021 Wines of Francis Coppola Vermentino comes from the Los Carneros AVA. Due to a cooler climate link to the San Pablo Bay, the fruit develops a slow, delicate fragrance balanced with a nice, natural acidity. Grapes were picked at the optimum of their flavor profile.

Despite 2021 having low amounts of rainfall, the grapes from this vintage are of exceptional quality. The growing season was typical with plenty of
sunshine and the usual afternoon breeze and evening fog helping to promote ripening and acid retention. Overall, a fantastic harvest with beautiful, concentrated wines.
